Blue tone cyanotype image of two girls standing on the beach in Cape May, New Jersey. Subjects are two Caucasian girls standing in the center of the image. Subject on left wears a long plaid dress with a dark panel vee insert in the bodice and wide dark cuffs at wrists. On either side of the vee insert is a circular design. Subject is smiling and wears a large-brimmed dark hat. Subject's hands are in front holding the top of a cane. She wears shiny dark shoes. To her right is a taller female in a dark-colored dress with two bows [?] at each wrist and one on the right shoulder. There are two narrow bands of white trim at the top and bottom of the stand-up collar. She is also smiling and wearing a large-brimmed dark hat, dark stockings and shoes. There appears to be a bracelet on her right hand. Behind them are several buildings built upon a pier.
