Chateauesque home with carriage house and gazebo at the corner of Pine and Appleton Streets. Built by the Holyoke Water Power Company in 1878 for its agent, William A. Chase. Later became home of attorney William H. Brooks.

Three story brick,stone, shingle, house with front porch and second floor balconies in front and on side. The house has terracotta details. A flag pole is to the right and Mt. Tom is in the background on left. The address was orginally 97 Linden and changed in 1893 to 271 Linden.

Three story stone, brick, and shingle house with circular porch and porte cochere. Above the front entry is a second story balcony. A round, open tower capped by an elaborate turret sits over the third story corner room. Street address was formerly 215 Linden Street and later 181 Linden. William E. Syms was the manager and president of the Syms and Dudley Paper Company of Holyoke.

The street address was formerly 215 Linden Street and later 181 Linden. William E. Syms was the manager and president of the Syms and Dudley Paper Company of Holyoke.
