At this date screw E was level with the surrounding metal. The line G-E was at an angle of 28 1/2 degrees to the base line A-B. (Photo #1) No scratches were upon the metal surrounding screw E showing no screw driver had been used to remove screw for inserting a new hammer. Screw C was at an angle of 49 degrees to the base line A-B and level with the face of metal. Hamilton discovered this evidence that the original factory hammer had never been replaced as claimed by the Prrosecution in trial. It was very important that Hamilton should be discredited so he could be driven out of the case & defense not have his services. Therefore, during the arguments of the fifth motion (see item 7, photograph #2)
