Two waistcoat fronts, in ribbed off-white silk are joined together. Fronts are embroidered in multicolored silks with a large floral designs along the bottom edge and up the center front. Remainder is embroidered with small flower sprigs in an open grid-like arrangement.

Two front panels of a waistcoat are embroidered in gold and silver metallic thread. Flowering vines and curving sprays with stars make a narrow border down the center front and cover the pocket flaps and spaces below. Style is slightly cutaway and collarless. Design likely inspired by Halley's Comet of late 1758–1759.
