This print contains many examples of the use of perspective. Three groups of seagulls are placed in the background, middle ground, and foreground. Two large wooden structures of the left side presented in the same compositional technique also convey depth within the print. Lastly, four boats decreasing in size as they float further into Edo Bay attempt to support this composition.
