Photos include: Sid Carl as Parade Marshall, floats from local farmers, tobacco shops, neighboring towns, American Legion, local clubs, historic groups and more. 1945 was actually the 275th anniversary of the town (founded in 1670), but the event was held in 1946 so the town could wait for most of the WWII servicemen to return home.
