The Trevi Fountain, Rome

Opposite the fountain we see the facade of the church, with shops on either side. In the foreground are carts, drawn by mules and oxen. On the left a man digs; a priest stands on the right near a rock, above which a massive pilaster rises, with a Corinthian capital. The oxen have been largely re-worked, and the net at the back of the cart is completed.
