Source Description

Photostat of southwest Watertown in 1687 called Nonsuch which is currently part of Weston. It shows acreage of settlers but no names. This territory is next the Sudbury Plantation to the west and Dedham to the south. Shows boundaries of Dedham and Sudbury, John Woodward and Barnett, Jenisons’ farm and middow mears [meadow of shallow lake]. Shows brooks, lakes and various acreage of plots of meadows, land and ponds. List “eastern most, middle and western most lotts”. The original is housed at the Massachusetts State Archives (#140, vol 1, p.129).
