John Crosby described as "yeoman"; Elkanah Snow described as "carpenter"; no first name given for the Hopkins referred to in deed; Mayflower Descendant V22 p.168 mentions an 1805 deed (John and Rachel Crosby to Elkahah Snow) selling 2 acres (which shares some boundaries with the current plot) and the house for $160, which was not re-recorded after the county house fire (original recorded in Book 62, Folio 40)
