Letter from Sarah Moore Grimké, Hyde Park, [Boston, Massachusetts], to Francis Jackson Garrison, [18]72 Aug[ust] 1st
Sarah Moore Grimké writes to Francis Jackson Garrison, thanking him "for all the trouble you have taken about my story". She then mentions that [Guiseppe] Mazzini "was duly received" and thanks Garrison for a book, calling it "this valuable gift." Grimké also discusses the death of R.D. Webb, saying, "I rejoice in his ascension to a higher sphere" and shares her hope that "while Lucy is with you, she will be able to come & see us".
