Document source description
Theocrat writes to William Lloyd Garrison and five others, saying they all "hear and you understand not and you see the vision and you know it not." Theocrat then goes on the accuse "the infidels like you who trample the innocent Bible under foot!" of ignoring God and expects them to soon to suffer God's wrath. Theocrat tells them "Satan deluded you in saying that the doctrine of the Bible has no foundation in truth!" and invites them to "Come and cure yourselves with the truths of the Gospels".
