Source Description

Silvanus Jaggor writes to Samuel May informing him that the Selectmen of Falmouth have offered the town hall for a meeting "free of expense which is quite convenient, will seat 4 or 500." Jaggor says they wish for May and William Lloyd Garrison to speak at the meeting and that "it will probably be the first meeting of the kind held in the town." In the postscript, he suggests May send notices for the meeting "direct to Doct. Addison Basset Falmouth w[h]o will attend to them being posted."
