Document source description

One envelope is addressed to Lucia Weston and contains an engraving by James Valetine of Dundee, Scotland. An inscription from Isaiah 11:4 of "Nations shall not lift up sword against nation. Neither shall they learn war any more." One envelope addressed to Miss Weston from unknown also contains an engraving from James Valentine of Dundee, Scotland in which an inscription says, "Arbitration for war. Universal brotherhood. Freedom of Commerce." One envelope is not addressed to anyone and has an engraving of a liberty bell with an inscription on it "Proclaim Liberty All the Inhabitants" with an address, "Magee, 316 Chestnut St." On the back is a "Twenty-Million-Power Memorial to Congress" written during the civil war or "rebellion."
