Source Description
Harriet Peirce writes to Maria Weston Chapman in regards to seeking information about the Massachusetts fair, "partly on my own account, but principally on that of others." She says a few dollars will be sent in behalf of the "Liberty Bell." She asks about the objects for which money will be raised by the fair is appropriated as well as if they intend to publish a paper on the days of the fair. She gives the availablity of her friend, Eliza Barney of Nantucket, to assist in the fair.
