Letter from Parentha Bodwell, Farmington, to Amos Augustus Phelps, June 22 1829

Amos A. Phelps’s cousin, Parentha Bodwell, writes to Phelps about his plan for missionary work. She asks where he plans to go. She wishes he wouldn’t go to Africa or Greece, but stay in America, although she will not discourage him from going where he wants to go.
