In this letter to Amos A. Phelps, Joshua Leavitt says that all the important part of Mr. Sawyer’s speech can be found in the Emancipator from two months ago. He discusses the possibility of having M. de Felice’s work on Emancipator translated, and Mr. Green’s letter and the response of “the board” to it.
