Seated, left profile, clothed in a large cloak with a collar; his hands hold a roasary; signed "A. Legros" at the top right angle. Published in the "Portfolio" of March 1872. There can be seen in all the first proofs two accidental lines which cross the whole widge of the plate above the head, and another accidental line, semi-circular, which touches the end of the mouth. Before the plate was bevelled. Superb proof showing the traits échappés.
