Source Description
Imperfect: ten leaves only. The text has been previously attributed to Raymund de Sabunde (see Haraszti), but is attributed to Raymund of Peñafort in Bloomfield, "Incipits d'oeuvres relatives aux vertus et aux vices", Traditio 11 (1955) 359 n° 909. Samuel Gruber, who has studied Raymond de Sabunde, also doubts Haraszti's attribution (see correspondance in library file). These ten leaves were originally folios 156-165 of a larger codex, as yet unidentified.

notes
Ms. codex.
Bibliographic record created by BPL staff based in part on description by Dr. Lisa Fagin Davis.
Origin: Written in Italy in the fifteenth century; the inclusion of the final text concerning the history of central Italy suggests the manuscript originated in that region, although the paper stock is associated with Genoa in the north.
