Source Description
Letter from Mary Jean Doherty, on behalf of the Selectmen, to Edwin B. Worthen, August 3, 1944. At a Special Town Meeting held on June 12, 1944, a vote was passed authorizing the Selectmen to appoint a Committee of nine Town Meeting members to receive requests from Town and civic groups for postwar projects. Mr. Worthen is asked to become a member of the Postwar Projects Committee.
