Introducing Virginia A. MacMechan and Miss Peabody, and making suggestions on how to demonstrate her hospitality to them. In Italian. Translation: Recommends to her love and attention “Mrs. V.A.M.M. and Miss P. Treat them as sisters. Tells her what Mrs. MacMechan likes to eat, not to use garlic. Please tell Babbo [daddy] about this. Am fine and confident of final victory. P.S. Excuse attached not in English which is needed to help convey letters."
