Source Description
Regarding his and Sacco's sudden transfer to Charlestown Prison, and expressing mistrust in both Gov. Fuller's and the Lowell Advisory Committee's decisions. Translation: This letter is very similar to the one to [Luigi] Bertoni dated 1 July 1927 (MS 2030 Box 4 F1 (2)). Recounts first scheduling of the date of execution, then sudden transfer to death house. Enemies are always victorious, they succeed by catching the defense off-guard. Hope always eludes us. Another slap in the face.
