Two Figures Walking in a Wooded Landscape
The unusual curved format of this watercolor is believed to be a design for a lampshade. There is a similar watercolor of almost the same size dated 1895 in the collection of the National Gallery of Art in Washington D.C. (Accession number 2009.70.135).
