Source Description

An etching of this watercolor of a vase in the Leopold Double collection by Jacquemart was published in the "Gazette de Beaux Art" in 1862. In the same year the etching also appeared in the book "Histoire artistique, industrielle et commerciale de la porcelaine" as plate 27. The vase depicted, of the "Medici" type, is now in the collection of the Metropolitan Museum, New York (Acc. No. 50.211.183).
