Figure of a Barefoot Man, Possibly Saint Joseph

early 18th century H: 6 1/4 in. (15.9 cm) Citation Source image

The bearded figure is lean and barefooted. He turns slightly to the right with a reverent gaze. The pose suggests that the statuette, perhaps Saint Joseph or an Apostle, was part of a sculptural group.
