Jean-Baptiste-Joseph Barrois of Lille, between 1837 and 1849 [5]; Jean-Baptiste-Joseph Barrois Sale, Paris, 1849; purchased by 4th Earl of Ashburnham, 1849 [6]; Earl of Ashburnham Sale, Sotheby's, London, 12 June 1901, lot 317; purchased by Bernard Quaritch Ltd., London, 1901; purchased by Henry Walters, Baltimore; by bequest to Walters Art Museum, 1931.[1] inscription on fol. 55v, ""Officialis curie parisensis capitulo Sancti Petri""; the first three abbreviated words also appear on upper right and lower left of fol. 55r and date to 14th century [2] first bookplate with arms on the front pastedown[3] second bookplate with arms on the front pastedown which reads ""Bibliothèque de Rosny"", referring to the Château de Rosny at Seine-et-Oise[4] bought for 210 francs[5] collection no. 129; '129' written on round green leather label at base of spine, crossed out and replaced by '192'[6] [collection no. 192; '192' written over '129' on label at base of spine
