Source Description

This miniature is in a frame of silver and silver gilt, set with brilliants. The oval portrait is set in a rectangular field of blue guilloche enamel with a diamond trellis overlay. The miniature and enameled field may once have formed the lid of a snuffbox or similar decorative object. On the back is a silver gilt relief of two doves and an alter.
