Source Description
This head of a horse shown chafing at the bit, ears laid back, is the top of a knife (?) handle. The bridle with nose, cheek, and head straps also has three straps under the jaw. The cheek strap and headband are decorated with concentric circles. The mane is combed into locks. There are holes in the interior of the ear, the nostril, and the eye, and one at the back of the mouth (for a bit (?)).
