Source Description
The dramatic silhouette of this vase is balanced by the quiet white porcelain and slight green-tinged glaze from which it is formed. The vessel swells wide beneath the shoulders and quickly curves inward as it plunges to an everted foot. The sloped shoulders make contact with the slender straight neck where a notch is formed in the paste. A wide network of subtle crackling appears in the translucent glaze.
