Putto

3rd-4th century (Late Antique) 3 9/16 in. (9 cm) Citation Source image

The convex bone is carved with a portion of a pattern of vine interlace, which contains a basket above a putto. The putto grasps the vine and holds fruit in his hand. The plaque has been buried, and shows surface flaking. It is broken at the left side and bottom.
