Tsuka with Dragons, Clouds, and Mt. Fuji

18th-19th century (late Edo-Meiji) L: 4 13/16 in. (12.2 cm) Citation Source image

The kashira on the end depicts a dragon amongst clouds with gold highlights. One of the menuki is in the shape of a gold dragon flying through shakudo clouds. The other depicts Mt. Fuji. The pairing of a dragon and Mt. Fuji is an emblem of success. This is part of a mounted set.
