Source Description

This is one of two matching buckles found with a silver bow fibula (Walters 57.1878). This small buckle could have fastened a something with a small strap, such as a pouch or a boot. The matching larger buckle, Walters 57.1879, could have fastened something with a larger strap, such as belt.
