Source Description

Evening bags and purses made out of gold and adorned with precious stones were popular in the early 20th century and were produced by famous jewelry makers like Tiffany & Co. This evening bag is made of meshed green gold with twenty-five diamonds and twenty-four sapphires lining the flap. A small detachable purse is linked by a chain to the inside of the larger bag.
