Male Figure (Kouros)
One of the most common types of figurines of the period is the nude male youth at the height of his physical beauty. Note the powerful upper chest, shoulders, and muscular thighs. His facial characteristics and his tall, narrow physique suggest that he was made in the Cyclades.
