Tsuba with a Wine Jar, Ladle, and Young Woman with a Fan
Shôjô are monkey-like creatures with human faces who usually live near water. They are fond of drinking sake, which probably accounts for their red faces. This shôjô is shown with a jar of sake, a ladle, and a fan. The reverse of the tsuba shows the opposite side of the scene.
