This tile is an example of Sultanabad ware and features two wrestlers. Sultanabad ware is a special type of underglazed, painted ceramic, which became popular in the Ilkhanid period. The motif of the two wrestlers may be influenced by the mystic Sufi movement, and represents Sufi exercises.
