Kashira with Daikoku

n.d. 1 5/16 in. (3.4 cm) (l.) Citation Source image

One of the seven gods of good fortune, Daikoku, is peering out at the viewer from inside a bag of treasures. At the bottom of the bag is a silver rat. Rats are associated with Daikoku as a reminder that treasure must be guarded. This is part of a set with Walters 51.938.
