Source Description

A heavy silver signet ring cast in one piece, with a bezel in the shape of a cartouche. The surface of the bezel has been filed down so far that the hieroglyphs are barely discernable. They give the throne name of Amenmesses, a little known pharoah of the 19th Dynasty, and two epithets "beloved of Amun" and "whom Re had chosen."
