Source Description

One dark and stormy night, the Heian warrior Taira Tadamori saw a strange glowing form flitting from tree to tree on the grounds of a temple in Kyoto. Thinking he would capture a ghost, Tadamori removed his sandals and crept closer, only to discover an old priest replenishing the temple lanterns with a pot of oil. The priest's crude straw rain hat had deceived the warrior.
