The bodhisattva of compassion, Kannon, is depicted on the kashira. This is either the white-robed Kannon or is paired with the fuchi to be the dragon-riding Kannon. The menuki depict the medicine Buddha (Yakushi Nyôrai) holding a medicine bowl in two differ poses. This is part of a mounted set.
