Source Description

Five flying cranes are depicted amongst clouds on the tsuka. On the kashira is a rooster sitting on a drum. This is a symbol of peaceful times. The drum is a type carried into battle. The rooster sitting on the drum implies that the drum has not been taken into battle in a long time and thus it is a period of peace. This is part of a mounted set.
