Binding from Commentary on Select Verses of the Qur'an
This binding from Walters manuscript W.667 is contemporary with the textblock. It is composed of dark brown goatskin (with a flap) and has a large central lobed medallion with floral scroll work outlined in gold. The binding has some repairs.
