Miss Linnie Beauchamp
Nursing Field Representative
midwes Branch, A.R.C.
1709 Washington Avenue
St. Bouis, Mo.
My dear Miss Beauchamp:
Included in Mrs. Vaughan's summary of activities
for the month of March, there was a most delightful description written
by you on the Delaho Service at Kansas City. I enjoyed every word of
it, but particularly the paragraph which referred to the Chapter Chair-
men. and his comments upon the value of these demonstrations from the
publicity point of view.
I note that more and more chapters are being
drawn into these special observances. This is very gratifying, as I am
sure it will not only be of assistance to the chapters in the develop-
ment of their particular activities, but of great assistance to the
local committees on Red Cross Nursing Pervice in theirs. A close
relationship between the two groups, as far as 1 have been able t
observe has brought about most effective results.
I wish that I might have been with you on this
occasion. If the opportunity presents itself, will you not please
express to the Chairman and Secretary of both Kensas City committees
my deep appreciation of the fine work that they accomplished at this
time.
Sincerely yours
Director of Nursing,
National Headquarters.
