Miss Josephine A. Clay.
The Margrave,
20th & Chestnut Streets,
Philadelphia, Pa.
My dear Miss Clay:
I am indeed glad that you are going with the next group of nurses to
France.
I am sending with this a circular of instruction concerning equipment,
blank forms of receipt and a filing card for the name and address of your nearest
relative.
Will you also send me at once two small unmounted photographs, one to
be attached to your passy ort and the other for filing with the State Department.
This is a new rule and we must have them at once in order to get the pass: orts
issued. They need not be at all expensive, just any little photographs but
unmounted. I should like these within the next two or three days.
It will pr bably be necessary for you to report in New York about the
18th. If you desire any further information, please do not hesitate to write to
me.
Yours sincerely,
hairman National Committee
Red Cross Nursing Service.
D-A.
Incl osures.
