New York, New York
My dear Miss Jurewicz:
Enclosed you will rind a list of questions submitted to us by
various members of our nursing starf which We have answered, to the
best of our ability.
Plans are progressing satisfactorily and we are anxious at this
time to make sure that everyone is ready. Tie feel now that when we
have a definite date of sailing we will be able to give you 10 days'
notice, so you should make your plans concerning vacation, etc.,
accordingly.
If you wish to take money with you for personal expenses in
addition to the check submitted by the American Reã Oross it seems
there is no restriction on the amount taken into Britain but not
sore than 10 Pouncs ean be brought out.
You will be supplied with a white riding shirt which should be
kept for special occasions when a group may have to appear in unifora.
Sincerely yours,
Gertrude Madley,
Chief Nurse,
American Red Cross-
Hervard Hospital Unit.
