Noyes, American Red Cross min hoye Washington, D. C. My deer Miss Noyes: Thank you for sending me Miss Kerr's letter. The General had one also, which was in reply to one he wrote her. He tells me to say to you that you need have no anxiety on the subject of the receiving vault. All of the bodies that are brought to Arlington are kept under guard in a suitable place until the time of interment, when shortly previous to the hour set they are placed in the grave and a guard is stationed over them until after the interment ceremony.
