Hariette Douglas
Extract from letter from Miss Johnson to Miss Butler, Jan 4, 1924.
"
We saw Miss Mary Brown off on Saturday. Miss Douglas goes tonight
and my family a week from Tuesday. Seems as though everyone I know
was leaving for the other side."
Miss Butler's reply, Jan. 7, 1924.
" Can you give us Miss Douglas' address or where she may be reached while she
in on her European trip? She has not kept in touch with us, and just before
Christmas Miss Noyes' wrote her only to have the letter returned unclaimed, I
suppose amid all the excitement of getting off she forgot to keep in touch with
us, and we should be very glad if you can give us some pernament address through
which she may be reached."
