My dear Miss Dover:
In reply to your letter, we have a record of your
war service which indicates that you served directly under
the American Red Cross, and are very glad to send you the at-
tached record of your service.
During the late war you were enrolled even though you
)
were not an American citizen, because at that time we enrolled
nurses who were citizens of the Allied countries. We are glad
to note, however, that you are securing your citizenship papers
as citizenship is now a requirement for enrollment.
Trusting the attached paper will be of service to you,
