Eftract of a letter to Miss Noyes from Mary K. Nelson, dated May 11, 1925.
"Miss DuBrau got back from her months vacation today. If she had only been well it would
have been wonderful for she had such good fellow travellers but unfortunately she had a
recurrence of a streptococcus throat and has had trouble with both ears - all of which
kept her from getting the benefit she badly needed. Miss Leach is the only one so far
who has escaped this bad type of sore throat that is very prevalent. But she poor child,
has been afflicted with a series of boils and is considerable below par physically."
Extract of a letter to Miss Mary K. Nelson from Miss Noyes, dated May 26, 1925.
"I was distressed to hear about Miss DuBrau and Miss Leach, and I hope by this time
they are quite well."
