Miss Winifred L. Erskine
12 Main Street
Saranac Lake, New York
My dear Miss Erskine#
We appreciate your offer of assistance for service with
the American Red Cross in connection with the present European
conflict.
At the present time the American Red Cross does not
anticipate sending any American personnel to Europe. We are very
glad, however, to make note of your interest and to know that we
may call on you at a later date if there should be need for your
services, either here or abroad.
May we remind you to keep your address and telephone
number up to date with your Local Committee Secretary, as it is
through the Secretary that we would expect to reach you if needed.
Sincerely yours,
Mary Beard
Director, Nursing Service
