My dear
We were very sorry to be informed that you were
rejected for military assignment because you were physically
disqualified.
We are reclassifying you as a second reserve nurse
for service under the Red Cross in event of some disaster or
other emergency occurring in your own locality. As a second
reserve nurse you remain on the active list and are eligible
for all service except military duty.
If your disqualification is such that you may be
able later to meet the first reserve requirements (such as by
correction of weight) we shall be pleased to hear from you at
that time.
